The HR Officer is responsible for managing a wide range of human resources functions in the base, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

The HR Office plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring employee satisfaction, and supporting organizational goals. and implements HR policies and procedures under the HR Manager Technical supervision.

 


Key activities in your role will include

Objective 1: (Responsible for all HR Operations in the Base)

  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations in the Base, including recruitment, onboarding & offboarding employee relations, performance management, Payroll.
  • Act as Focal Point to Head of base in collaboration with HR Manager 
  • Prepare employment contracts, amendments in consultation with the HR Manager and Assure that contracts are signed by all employees before they begin working and kept safely
  • Responsible that all new hires signs, all needed documents before they began working, job description, code of conduct, contract…… etc. and assure all documents are kept safely in the employee file and upload in HRIS
  • Closely follow up attendance, leaves and overtime 

Objective 2: (HR administration & compliance)

  • Ensures completed and up-to-date personnel files are maintained for all base staff on ACF system.
  • Archive all HR documents in both hard and soft copies
  • Provide requested documents by auditor (internal and external)
  • Issue monthly salary slips, Attendance sheet to the employees and collect the signed salary slips and archive them

Objective 3: (Manage base recruitment under supervision of HR Manager)

  • Assist line manager with Job Request using ACF System
  • Support in preparing job descriptions in coordination with line managers and HR Manager.
  • Publish vacancies and post it on all needed platforms.
  • Manage full recruitment cycle 
  • keep recruitment progress report up to date.
  • Upload all needed recruitments documents (test, Watchdog, references…etc.)

Objective 4: (training focal in the Base)

  • Support HR Manager in preparing the Annual training report 
  • Update and follow up the Annual Training plan for the base
  • To organize/lead any training in the base.

Objective 5: (HR Projects and Reporting)

  • lead any assigned HR project aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, HR policies, and procedures.
  • Provide HR Manager monthly report (recruitment Tracker, ATP, Annual Leaves tracker…etc)

Do you meet the profile required criteria?
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Human Resources Management tools such as organization charts, performance appraisal, job descriptions, staff training and development.
  • 2 years in human resources management preferably in an HR generalist role Minimum 1 year experience in the humanitarian sector.
  • Strong command of MS Office. Advanced level of Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS.
  • travel to project sites when needed.

Our remuneration package:
  • Contract period: 12 months renewable base on Action Against Hunger fund and performances
  • Salary/benefits: According to Action Against Hunger's salary scale and terms and conditions.
  • Based in: Kadugli SK
  • Line manager: Head of Base.
