The Field Supervisor will work directly with refugee and Lebanese communities, as well as direct beneficiaries. The Field Supervisor will be responsible for the daily implementation of ACF FSL department’s activities in Beirut and Mount Lebanon area. The Supervisor will be tasked to implement the weekly plans in a quality manner and to report problems encountered during the implementation to the HoP. The Supervisor will follow the daily activities of the Field Officers and will work in close relationship with the monitoring and evaluation supervisor, the monitoring and evaluation officers and other ACF field staff to ensure good quality of works.
Objective 1 : To ensure timely and quality implementation of FSL activities (50%) | |
1 | To support Head of Project (HoP) in design of the beneficiary selection process |
2 | To supervise the field officers in the beneficiary selection process on daily basis and to actively support the process

3 | To ensure coordination of activities with the staff of the municipalities in targeted areas and to communicate any issues with the HoP |
4 | To supervise the field officers in conducting the livelihoods activities (input distribution, trainings, set up, maintenance, monitoring, reporting, etc.) |
5 | Ensure good understanding of project objectives by filed officers |
6 | Identify training needs for the project staff and report to the Head of Project. Train field officers together with the Head of Project for better implementation of project activities |
7 | To actively support ACF’s implementing partner in conducting their livelihoods activities in the area |
8 | To represent Head of Project on daily encounters with other program stakeholders |
9 | To provide verbal and written reports on the activities to the HoP on the agreed frequency. Collect weekly reports from staff, Report progress of the work, HR issues, security concerns and other identified food security and livelihoods issues to the HoP, and support the Head of Project in monthly reports |
10 | To Organize the distribution of e-cards: receiving the e-cards, preparing lists, identifying distribution centres, informing beneficiaries. |
Objective 2 : To ensure timely implementation and follow up of food security and livelihoods activities.(30%) | |
1 | To organize community meetings, focus group discussions and assessments to identify the needs of the host and refugee populations upon the request of HoP |
2 | To support the implementation of other food security and livelihoods activities upon the request of HoP |
3 | To provide the HoP with technical input in the design of other FSL related trainings and actively engage in their implementation |
4 | To support the HoP in the planning of food security and livelihoods program items |
5 | To supervise the field officers in implementation of the distribution plans and to actively engage in the process |

Objective 3 : To support other humanitarian activities of ACF upon the request of the PM.(20%) | |

Objective 4 : Security | |
