Advice and support AAH Sudan Mission in developing strategies for FSL interventions in Sudan and in the implementation of FSL programs (emergency and early recovery).
Objective 1: Provide strategic leadership to the FSL programme design and technically support implementation
- Provide strategic leadership with focus on strengthening the quality of the FSL programme encompassing emergency response, preparedness, resilience, and early recovery.
Objective 2: Capacity Building
- Participate together with the HR Department and line managers in the recruitment of FSL staff.
Objective 3: Reporting and Capitalization
- Lead the FSL components of monthly sitreps, ensure the accuracy of Clusters 4Ws, reviewing internal and external reports including donor reports.

Objective 4: Contribute to programme quality standards
- Develop guidelines and tools for key intervention identified in ACF-Sudan Technical Programmatic Framework, to ensure ACF, CORE Humanitarian Standard, SPHERE standards and any other relevant international standard is followed during the whole project cycle
Objective 5: Coordinate with support Departments
- Contribute to the application of the log/kit forms and procedures pertaining to the supply chain, procurement, transport/movement.
Objective 6: Representation and Coordination
- Actively participate in FSL cluster meetings and relevant technical working groups
Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Economics, Food Processing or any other relevant field.
Technical specific knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of FSL concepts programming, and Project Cycle Management (LFA)
- Expertise in FSL M&E tools, methodologies, and indicators
- Strong skills in participatory assessments, context and risk analysis, data analysis, and reporting
- Experience in remote coordination, management, training, and coaching in the FSL sector
- Proven ability in proposal writing and strategic planning and familiarity with institutional donor’s requirements
- Desirable knowledge of the Sudanese context
Previous experience (years):
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an INGO in senior management positions, ideally in a similar FSL role
- Experience in cash-based interventions and DRM projects preferred
- Experience in multi-sector projects (livelihoods, WASH, nutrition, etc.) and working alongside governmental structures, local/national partners, and international organizations
- Proven ability to work with remote communities in volatile, conflict, and war-affected contexts, including emergency response and resilience-building
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Formal work contract: 12 months renewable.
- Base: Port Sudan (Sudan)
- Salary: according to Action Against Hunger salary scale and to candidate’s previous experience.
