The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for processing all the procurement related to importation and support the supervision of the procurements done at Capital level. On punctual level, support can be given to the Gaza team to strengthen their SCM process. 


Key activities in your role will include
  • Ensure the smooth running of the supply chain (planning, order, purchase, storage and deliveries) (20%)
  • Procurement
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Framework Agreement Strategy (10%)
  • Reporting and coordination (15%)

Do you meet the profile required criteria?
  • Bachelor certificate with professional experience in logistic/clerical work.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment, intermediate Excel level required, Intermediate Microsoft word and PowerPoint, Outlook desirable, Power BI desirable
  • University degree preferred on Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related Humanitarian Procurement, donor regulations, team management 3 years minimum experience working on projects related to Logistics at humanitarian aid organizations and/or international donors or private sector. Is an asset Is an asset English compulsory (written and verbal)

  • Contract Length: 6 months with possibility of extension 

  • Base:  Jerusalem base with frequent travel to West Bank /Gaza.

  • Salary: According to Action Against Hunger Salary scale. 

  • Difficult context allowance: As per Action Against Hunger policy and this plus is reviewable throughout the contract based on the applicable risk analysis

  • Breaks: Per Diem of the break covered by the organization (depending on the number / year of breaks determined by the mission) and ticket allowance for each break. 

  • Assistance for vacation return: provided that the expatriate has been on a mission for more than 1 year and committed to another year. 

  • Return Flight to place of residence as long as the expatriate has been on a mission for more than 1 year and has committed to another year. 

  • Refund of all costs related to departure on assignment (visas, Vaccinations,) 

  • Accommodation in guest house or payment of an allowance covering partially an individual rent. Return ticket to the mission. 

  • Adapted professional career where talent and motivation are recognized. Continuous training in both technical skills and competencies. 

  • 25 days paid leave per year.
