The Emergency Daily Worker is responsible for offering immediate support and assistance during emergency situations in IDP shelters and host communities. This position demands flexibility, adaptability, and a readiness to perform various tasks as required.


Key activities in your role will include
  • Provide assistance and support to individuals affected by the emergency, including shelters, food, and basic needs.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, emergency services, and affected individuals to relay important information
  • Assist in the distribution of emergency supplies, such as food and non-food items
  • Organize and manage distribution points for efficient resource allocation.
  • Document and report on the status of affected areas, including damage assessment and needs analysis

Do you meet the profile required criteria?
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in emergency response or related fields is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in challenging conditions. / Also, immediate availability upon request
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting and carrying
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
