The Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) Officer (Cross-Cutting) is responsible for the planning, implementation, supervision, monitoring, and reporting of food security and livelihoods activities across multiple thematic areas. These include hot meals/community kitchens, fresh food distribution, dry food distribution, and support to vulnerable populations such as new mothers and internally displaced persons (IDPs). The Officer will work closely with the FSL Head of Project and other team members to ensure that interventions are effectively coordinated, culturally appropriate, and aligned with Action Against Hunger's policies and standards.

University degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field.
Strong understanding of FSL concepts and programming.
Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
Proficiency in project management, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing food security and livelihoods programs.
Experience in managing food assistance interventions, including fresh food and cooked meal distributions.
Previous experience working with NGOs or international organizations in humanitarian contexts.
Experience in community mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic.
Proficiency in English is required.
Microsoft Office 365, Basic-Intermediate Excel.
