Acción Contra el Hambre

 The HoP will be responsible of the implementation of ACF KfW livelihoods activities in Bekaa + Baalbek-Hermel, Lebanon. The HoP will be tasked to ensure that Labour Intensive Activities are implemented smoothly on the ground and monitored in accordance to the project work-plan and logical framework. He/she will be expected to identify issues and risks related to project implementation in a timely manner and suggest appropriate adjustments. 

Ensure quality intervention with MEAL tools, field monitoring and quality reporting. Ensure appropriate financial and logistics follow up.

• Objective 1: To ensure timely and quality implementation of food security, livelihoods and nutrition activities at base level (50 %)
• Objective 2: To manage and develop the capacity of the KFW team (20%)
• Objective 3: Finance and Administration (20 %)
• Objective 4: External representation and stakeholder engagement (10%)

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, agriculture, economy, food security, humanitarian action or any related field
• Food security and livelihoods, CVA, economy business administration
• 2 years’ experience in humanitarian and development organizations 1 year experience in livelihoods/CVA programs is desirable Experience with Labor Intensive Activities highly desirable
• Good knowledge of INGOs and donor agencies procedure, guidelines and intervention in the country
• Fluency in English, native Arabic compulsory
